Public bug reported: At least without any manual installing of a few packages first, most notably libgl1-mesa-glx-lts-quantal:i386 Ex. The following packages have unmet dependencies: wine1.4-i386:i386 : Depends: libgl1-mesa-glx:i386 or libgl1:i386 Depends: libglu1-mesa:i386 but it is not going to be installed or libglu1:i386 Recommends: gettext:i386 but it is not going to be installed
Installing libgl1-mesa-glx-lts-quantal:i386 (& whatever deps it pulls) will then allow sudo apt-get install wine1.4 to work or a synaptic install to proceed without creating a borked install (synaptic will prior to libgl1-mesa-glx-lts-quantal:i386 install remove all the lts-quantal packages & not replace them completely ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: wine (not installed) ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.5.0-23.35~precise1-generic 3.5.7.2 Uname: Linux 3.5.0-23-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu17.1 Architecture: amd64 Date: Sun Feb 17 11:05:34 2013 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS "Precise Pangolin" - Release amd64 (20130213) MarkForUpload: True ProcEnviron: TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: wine1.4 UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: wine1.4 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug precise running-unity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1128206 Title: Not installable on new 12.04.2 amd64 install To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wine1.4/+bug/1128206/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
