Public bug reported: Binary package hint: lmodern
On Feisty with lmodern, only a blank page is generated, and pdflatex complains about not finding the font. Example document test.tex: \documentclass[a4paper]{article} \usepackage[T1]{fontenc} \usepackage[utf8]{inputenc} \usepackage{lmodern} \begin{document} This is a test. \end{document} pdflatex message: ... (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/lm/lmodern.sty) (./test.aux) (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/lm/t1lmr.fd) [1{/home/frederik/.texmf-var/fonts/map /pdftex/updmap/pdftex.map}] (./test.aux)kpathsea: Running mktexpk --mfmode / --bdpi 600 --mag 1+0/600 --dpi 600 ec-lmr10 mktexpk: don't know how to create bitmap font for ec-lmr10. kpathsea: Appending font creation commands to missfont.log. ) Warning: pdflatex (file ec-lmr10): Font ec-lmr10 at 600 not found Output written on test.pdf (1 page, 985 bytes). Transcript written on test.log. Since lmodern is quite crucial for generating high-quality documents in european languages, it would be important to get this fixed in Feisty (via feisty-updates or so), just as the broken tetex packages in Dapper. ** Affects: lmodern (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- font not found with lmodern https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/113519 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
