this is a usability issue which is probably a gtk filepicker issue and not a thunderbird one. Triagers: please verify if the filepicker in tbird 1.5 is gtk filepicker and if so test if other gtk applications are affected as well. If so reassign to gtk ... or add new target for gtk package ** Tags

hi sarah, with the latest 2.0.0.4 save as seems to work ie. filename remains as i change folders...so that's an improvement... but - what happens when you click on an email with more than one attachment...then right click - choose save all and then click ok directly... in my case nothing
