Hardware thinks the battery isn't present it seems. These features are
supported by the asus laptop extras module, which went through some
changes after 2.6.21. Could you boot 2.6.20 and get the exact same info
you attached for the 2.6.22
sorry, but the asus module version is the same... and if I'm not wrong
that module is not responsible for the battery detection. It is acpi
