I hadn't thought to check the plugins as I was busy with normal work,
however I can confirm the problem only happens with the draw spaces and
tabs plugin consistently. Will attach sample file.

Did you figure what plugin is creating the problem? Joey, use geany if
you want no need to write about it on the bug though, we are trying to
figure what is wrong and fix the problem, your workaround would be
better placed on an user forum if you think it should be known by other
users

i tried to get some backtrace but i couldn't. So i deactivate all
gedit's plugins and it works. I will see what plugin is with problem.
