In some of the higher levels, it does mix upper and lower case. I can
confirm that I have to guess whether to type an I or l. This is with
gcompris 15.02-1.1ubuntu1 on Ubuntu 16.04.

Shivani, you have a point. Obviously, i, l, I and L can be difficult to
distinguish visually even in the real world, too. As far as I remember
the program it usually runs in either capital letters or lower case
exclusively. Have you ever run into a mix of the two?

Abstract:
In all the levels for the GCompris activity the letters i and L appear
similar which would make it tough for the children to figure by hit and trial
in higher levels.
