Same problem here, it only recently started happening. I got a lot of
kde updates today, and now the 'unlock' or 'password' dialog is gone.

No unlock dialogue after
Just posting this as a potential workaround in case other users
experiencing the same issue find this bug. When I was using Simple
Locker or Screen Saver after the upgrade (from 12.10) I got no unlock
dialogue, and thus no way to unlock the screen. However, after some
experimentation, I found
Screensaver stopped giving an unlock dialogue, so apparently
uninstalling those packages had nothing to do with it. Desktop Widget
option is still a viable workaround.

This appears to only be a problem with the Desktop Widgets screen
locker. The Simple Locker works fine.
