In fact, I use the .desktop to make a shortcut to the panel or to a
dock. But you probably right about the shortcut, so maybe you can close
this bug.

Thank you for your bug report. I think this app was designed to be
launched from a shortcut, so I think a .desktop would be useless :
what's the point in going to the menu to launch gnome-launch-box then to
type what you want ? If it was so it would be faster to only use the
menu , no ?
