It's hard to do so because we should update a lot of packages which
could cause problems to other packages depending on them. It was a real
mess, but everything should be ok in Gutsy.

Are there some (new) news about this? I just installed python-soya in my
ubuntu feisty, and it doesn't work with python2.5 (although it works if
I do 'python2.4 someapp.py', which is a pain to do when developing with
an IDE).
Is there gonna be an updated package for Feisty?

The newer bug can be fixed by updating ODE (libode0c2) to version 0.7
from 0.5 (check Debian experimental), but fixing that leaves behind
several Billboard-related bugs in the games... it seems like it will
never end.

Sorry, I was thinking of another 3d term. Slune throws an AttributeError:
'HorizontalBanner' object has no attribute 'advance_time'. I probably mixed
up Banner with billboards (the type of 3d sprites that always face the camera).
Balazar throws AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute
Well I will see upstream what can be done.

I would like to request this also. The current version of Soya in the
repositories either crashes upon load for most games, or runs them at
sub-1 FPS.

It's been a while, I am really requesting the Ubuntu Development Team to
come up with the updated Soya 0.13.1 package, many games are not
starting because of this error. Or at least please provide a decent
easy compilation instructions for this.
