This bug was corrected in the skencil SVN repository with revision 688
(https://wald.intevation.org/plugins/scmsvn/viewcvs.php/skencil/branches/skencil-0.6/Pax/paxmodule.c?rev=688root=skencilview=auto).
I've compiled a currentt version of skencil-0.6 and it doas start on
feisty.
