The bug still is a valid bug as it exists in Ubuntu precise, and that's what I
reported.
As you said, there is no need to discuss the bug fix here as well, but a
possible sync from Debian.

In that case IMO, you should open a bug for the package to be synced from
Debian, and report all the bugs that it fixes. That would be more productive
than sending the bugfix from upstream git.

Hi,
Could we please avoid to have another bug report? This has been fixed in
Debian, there's no need to discuss it in Launchpad when this has been
discussed and fixed in bugs.debian.org. This is a waste of time. If
there's a bug to fill, it is only to sync from Debian, IMO.
