Since this bug seems to be fixed in the latest 2.2.1 gnucash version
that can be found in Gutsy or Feisty backports, I set the status to fix
released.
Thanks for taking time to make ubuntu and gnucash better. Feel free to

I doubt that this is necessary. I rather think this bug has been fixed
in GnuCash's developer tree (trunk), leading to 2.2.0. The fix has not
be backported to 2.0 and it is not clear whether there will be a 2.0.6
at all.

I am getting the very same segfault and was just about to report this
bug, as well. In my case, I was creating a new expense account.
I cannot provide a very helpful backgrace because there do not appear to
be any debugging symbols in the repository. If someone can point me to
those, I can gener
