Thanks for reporting.
However, openoffice.org2-amd64 is a package created specificly for amd64
architecture, and no longer exists in the most recent releases (doesn't
exists in 7.04 feisty, for example). Also, there was never a 2.2
version of openoffice.org2-amd64.

I can't open your test file with my web browser : The image
“http://launchpadlibrarian.net/8071653/logo.jpg” cannot be displayed,
because it contains errors. Are you sure it's not a problem with the
image and not with openoffice ?

I can confirm the symptoms as described when trying to insert the
testcase image in openoffice writer, the exact error message is
Graphics filter not found. Kubuntu feisty, ooo 2.2.0-1ubuntu3 (32 bit
install on amd64 hardware).
