I'm not the OP, but I have the same problem. I ran the suggested 'sudo
apt-get' commands, but I still get the same fundamental error:
Unpacking linux-image-3.5.0-37-generic (from
.../linux-image-3.5.0-37-generic_3.5.0-37.58_i386.deb) ...
This kernel does not support a non-PAE CPU.
You may need to run the following:
sudo apt-get install -f
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update
Then re-install the package.
If that does not resolve your issue, please mark the bug as "Confirmed"
