I am having the same problem. I am using hardy and it will not play the
attached file (mpeg2ts). The file plays fine with mplayer so expect it to play
with totem/gstreamer as well.
Please test attachment.

Sorry for multiple posts! I wanted to add that the file extension has
nothing to do with this (I can play other files named .trp). The problem
persists even when I rename the file to .mpg.
Also, please see attachment after running:
GST_DEBUG=3 gst-launch playbin
I tried this file on my AMD64 box with gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mpegdemux
0.10.12-0ubuntu1 + totem/gst-typefind
The file plays fine with both players.
So, I suppose it was fixed in the mean time.
Could you update this package to latest available and retest please ?
