I just got this error from the argyll packing in Pascal De Brujins ppa: https://launchpad.net/~pmjdebruijn/+archive/gnome-color-manager-release The cause is due to the argyll package trying to use the legacy usb-db binary which has been replaced with hwdb - Some refs:
