The 'Fix' was worst of all worlds for me. Before I found that using the Log-Out dialog and removing Suspend/Hibernate from the Action Button to stop me using them there worked although not ideal. Selecting Hibernate from Log-Out Dialog at least Locked the Screen which was the whole rationale behin
