I see this bug's quite old, but I can confirm it on Ubuntu 14.04. After linking '~/.local/share/Trash/files' to '~/trash:' I get directed to the correct directory BUT I'm missing the special context menu entrie(s) like "Restore". When opening Trash via "thunar trash://" from CLI I get the

This also affects me, running 14.04 upgraded from 13. If I open trash:/// in Nautilus and keep it open in a separate window, the trash icon on the launcher works. However, the moment I close trash:/// in Nautilus, the launcher's trash icon stop working. -- You received this bug notification
