Most of the bug reports we get lack log files. It seems one reason for
this can be fixed in the code:
UnitySystemCompositorLog: Error: [Errno 13] Permission denied:
'/var/log/lightdm/unity-system-compositor.log'
LightDMLog: Error: [Errno 13] Permission denied:
The logs are intentionally root owned - they might contain sensitive
data.
