This is being a really serious problem, at first I thought it had to do
with, LineAk not running, Then I submit a bug that the alsa driver
conflicts when using other audio programs. But I do nothing and it still
screws up. Worst, I use my phone for work and my boss is getting pissed
off that my
[Expired for ekiga (Ubuntu) because there has been no activity for 60
days.]

If your router is a symetric NAT that's the reason why you get time out.

Are you able to test if this problem occurs with ekiga in gutsy? The
gutsy release contains a new ekiga which fixes a lot of problems.
