I had to install nvidia-319-updates instead of 313 to get the module compiled for the v3.11 kernel. On v3.8 and nvidia-319-updates, the bug still exists. With v3.11, the hotkeys trigger the KDE brightness popup and change the screen brightness, so the bug is fixed upstream. ** Tags added:
