yes have installed hardy and mine is up to date.
I get the odd freeze but from things like putting the lid down and raising the
lid to quickly.
quirks are no longer necessary and I don't require noapic .etc.

kernel. You should be able to then test the new kernel via the LiveCD.

Just checked on my HP nw9440 running Gutsy with all the latest updates.

with 64bit version of gutsy and noapic kernel boot parameter ...no
with 32bit version, after several successful resumes and vt switching works
fine then on resume blank screen.
note though that this is with compiz and nvidia 6150 chipset (with no sync to
vblank and 'option NvAGP 1
