Title:
SageMath is not available for Precise
To manage notifications about
SageMath was pulled from Debian after Lenny because it was no longer
supported by anyone and it quickly became unstable. This corresponds
with either Karmic or Jaunty in Ubuntu. The most up to date source for
SageMath can be found here:
http://snapshot.debian.org/package/sagemath/3.0.5dfsg-5.1/ .
Thank you, Quinn!
I installed sagemath-upstream-binary from AIMS ppa, and it works.

Title:
SageMath is not available for Precise
To manage
Alright, Awesome. It might be worth bringing up the possibility of
removing references to SageMath from http://packages.ubuntu.com , as we
don't officially support anything that doesn't come from the official
repositories.
Glad I could help.
