SageMath was pulled from Debian after Lenny because it was no longer supported by anyone and it quickly became unstable. This corresponds with either Karmic or Jaunty in Ubuntu. The most up to date source for SageMath can be found here: http://snapshot.debian.org/package/sagemath/3.0.5dfsg-5.1/ .
