- open gnome-terminal.
- set colorscheme option in ~/.vimrc save. (ex: colorsheme darkblue)
- $ vi ~/.vimrc quite
- $ man ls
[work around]
ctrl+l or quit retry man command.
[installed package]
$ dpkg -l | grep libvte-2.90-9
ii libvte-2.90-9
** Changed in: vte3 (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided = Medium

In vteseq.c the case 47/1047/1049 should call
_vte_terminal_set_default_attributes (terminal); before clearing the
screen. Not sure if it should go inside the if (set) branch, or
outside.
