NetworkManager has issues with the acerhk enable/disable the wireless led. official support for Amilo A1650G is not included in After an enabling was triggered, I had to rmmod ath_pci with all it's dependencies, kill NetworkManager, modprobe ath_pci and run NetworkManager, just to connect my wireless network. A mess! If I set rfkill=0 for ath_pci, the wireless stays always active, and NetworkManager runs ok. This solution may not be battery friendly to ppl without wireless networks with this laptop. I'll make some more scenarios testing to verify this solution. Affected Hardware: 02:05.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications, Inc.
