The tray icon turns blue and it doesn't dismiss when opening evolution.

Issue is not seen in the later versions of ubuntu running later version of
thunderbird and pidgin.

This still remains as issue on thunderbird and pidgin notifications even in
Ubuntu 15.10 too.
This is still unassigned. Any hope about this getting fixed in the new version
16.04 ?

This remains an issue on Evolution 3.10.4 and Ubuntu 14.04. Agreed that
it's quite an annoyance as I have to clear the indicator manually.
