To add further information, this is how i upgraded my system from 12.04 to 13.10, 1. logged into the system with my normal user account, (which is not in the sudoers list) 2. opened terminal and did "su " and then entered the pwd. 3. once inside the sudoer account in the terminal, I issued the co
