I was interrupted when writing the last post, so here's some more. Motherboard is Asus P5W DH Deluxe, and the wireless is fixed onboard as an usb device (not really sure it's usb but windows thinks its removable and it's fixed into motherboard as a little independent device). NVidia card is a

All those logs are from 2.6.20 With 2.6.22, I can't get past login with rtl 8187 native driver and networkmanager enabled. I have no problems with ndiswrapper driver and netmanager disabled. I'll try to find out what's up with it. -- Connection drops at high traffic using rtl8187 driver

The kernel I was using when noticed the bug was latest feisty kernel. I just dist-upgraded to Gutsy this night. I'll try to test both kernels (latest feisty and latest gutsy). These logs that you're asking for, I take I must wait for the connection dropping problem to occur before saving the logs

Strange... You said you upgraded to Gutsy, but you are still having a 2.6.20 kernel. On Gutsy it should be 2.6.22. I may be missing something, as I am not too used to kernel bugs. Is it a 32 or 64 bits? Do you know the make and model of your motherboard? Which NVIDIA video card is that? I ask

I said I dist upgraded, but I did not delete the old kernel. As I said, I'll test both. I'll test gutsy kernel tomorrow. I may be wrong but I don't think gnome version is the main thing here, so it should be ok to test feisty kernel on gutsy gnome. Or am I wrong? I dont remember if NetworkManager
