Strictly speaking I don' t think this is the same behavior as described
in the summary of bug #793450, but the two behaviors are being caused by
the bug that's been fixed.
If this behavior is still happening
I believe the selected date is correct when the applet is first started
during login, but then continues to show the last selected date.
I would expect the label that indicates today would jump the calendar
to that date.

I don't think this is a duplicate of #793450 either. Opening the
calendar indicator a second time doesn't change anything for me. This
happens for me all the time, so'd be glad to help someone that can fix

This happens to me as well. It doesn't seem like it is a duplicate of
bug #1209386, since it opens to different days (not just previous one)
and doesn't correct itself when clicked again. It seems to
