Can confirm - the workaround is to disable dri (I unloaded the dri module) - and it no longer crashes - however vncviewer then shows a corrupted screen - confirmed using 4.1.2 viewer from Gentoo and Windows PCs, and using tightvnc viewer 1.3.9. -- Vnc4server and ati driver crash machine when
