As reported in http://askubuntu.com/questions/361711/osspd-aoss-padsp-dont-work-with-13-10 I found that osspd doesn't work with Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy. I'm sure it is Ubuntu 13.10's problem because I also have Ubuntu 13.04 on this very same machine, and it works fine. My *PaulsAudio works fine*.
