Public bug reported: The binutils-avr package only includes static libraries (libbfd.a, libopcodes.a), not shared libraries (libbfd.so, libopcodes.so).
Other binutils packages (e.g. binutils, binutils-arm-linux-gnueabi) include both static and shared libraries.
