Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with the
lightdm-gtk-greeter package. You made this bug report in 2014 and there have
been several versions of Ubuntu since then.
Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the
ticket?

The screen artifacts should no longer occur. We introduced several
workarounds to fix this issue. Please let me know if this is still
affecting you with lightdm-gtk-greeter 1.8.4

It seems that the issue does not happens anymore.
But i got weird screen artifacts in a boot, in the lightdm login screen,
these problem are related?
