Listen, it's the third time that I'm telling you to check Options -
Panel options - Navigation - Lynx-like motion and see if this is
what you want. It is thoroughly described in the manual (`man mc`).

Thank you for finally providing enough information for me (a new user of
mc) to enable Lynx-like motion. This is exactly what I want and what
99% of anyone would want after discovering it.
This option should be enabled by default.

I'm sorry, I don't know what lynx motion is. Here's an example of what
I mean:
If focus is currently on a particular folder in mc, then hitting the
right-arrow-key would drill into that folder. Then, hitting the left-
arrow-key would go back to the parent folder.
