Sorry, I read your bug too fast the first time, and missed steps (4) and
(5)!
One possible reason for this to occur is that you have config files
generated by the 0.9.8 version which aren't properly readable by the
older 0.9.2.1. Can you move the existing config (~/.democracy) out of

using rm -fr, but forgot to report that at the first time. Even after I
had removed the directory and relaunched the application, it exits only
at the Channel guide.

Here is one more attachment that declares the error. I have tried to run
the program from a terminal command line and an error occurred that
