I just tried to remove (purge) xchat and xchat-gnome, then I installed xchat-gnome again, and somehow the menu worked. After installing xchat, the sidebar menu didn't work anymore until I access it in another way. Uninstalling xchat doesn't change it, even if I delete ~.xchat2 folder. Now, after
