Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v3.14 kernel[0].
If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following
tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.
If the mainline kernel does not fix
Crazy, after upgrade, dist-upgrade, I'm still on 3.14 kernel.
But after restart and trying using command
watch /proc/interrupts
49:145143 PCI-MSI-edge snd_hda_intel
and playing audacious, mute-unmute etc...
show normally without errors or weird characterst instead

Using cat /proc/interrupts it will show unknown data of IRQ, but I think
it's on kernel bug or Ubuntu won't parse as well, I'm not sure.
Image sample show under IRQ number 49 PCI-MSI edge but I can't
cat /proc/interrupts

After mute/unmute it's still sames.
After opening audacious and playing it's changes:

I'm not sure is that pulseaudio, but my audio works fine and it isn't
