Meanwhile DCRaw 8.78 has been released with an option to distribute
under GPL 2 or later. The upcoming UFRaw 0.13 (expected to be released
next Sunday) use the option and is pure GPL 2.

Since the update to gimp 2.4 release candidate 2, gimp-ufraw can't be
intalled the regular way, because it retains dependncies on gimp 2.3. It
would be cool to solve that and have 0.12.1 if possible.

You should wait for 0.12.1 to be released in a few days since it fixes a
