Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.
However, processing it in order to get sufficient information for the
developers failed (it does not generate an useful symbolic stack trace).
This happens sometimes, and the only way to get the information is to
apport information

Just tested the latest trusty after apt-get upgrade and I do not see
this crash. But I am running Unity, not XUbuntu.

Hi I can't reproduce this in a trusty xubuntu-desktop session either. My
dependencies look the same.
Are there any error messages printed in the terminal?
Without a stacktrace, or any other messages, it is a bit hard to track down
what the problem might be.
