After hold version of xserver-xorg-core (ubuntu 15.10-beta2) all works
perfectly:
$ sudo apt-mark hold xserver-xorg-core
$ sudo apt dist-upgrade

Thank you for your bug report. Is that still an issue? That seems more a
problem with nvidia drivers for some specific cards. Does it happen if
you turn off the binary drivers and use the nouveau ones?

Hi, I'm new in Ubuntu and I don't understand English very well. Can

Just re-posting here resume script from bug #1308003 which fixed for me the
issue.
sudo cp ./000_fix_black_box /etc/pm/sleep.d/
sudo apt upgrade compiz

I have the same issue with GeForce 9800M GTS/PCIe/SSE2 using NVIDIA
binary driver - version 331.38 from nvidia-331 (proprietary,tested)
An alternate way of getting rid of the black bars is to go to a console
(e.g. Ctrl + Alt +F1) and come back (i.e. Ctrl + Alt + F7)

Same for me. Even various menu popups have the thick black frame around,
e.g. main menu or the one for right click. I guess the black frame is
the space where normally should be translucent window shadow.
