Ubuntu perfers (and support) pm-utils. So if you are on Ubuntu, you
should stick to pm-utils only. There are ways to purge pm-utils (if you
don't like it) and use something else, like LMT, as the sole power
saving service. But that's something not an average user should be
recommended to do.
