did your graphic driver enable audio support ?
your Samsung hdmi monitor already provide EDID to the graphic but seem
audio is support is not enabled
there are two ways to provide hdmi
1) the iec958 control of spdif of alc663 may block the nvidia HDMI codec
2)
your nvidia HDMI codec may appear as device 3 if you use hda jackretask
to disable digital output (DEVICE 1)by changing pin default of 0x1e from
[Jack] to [N/A]

do you mean there is another nvidia hdmi codec for HDMI output or
provided by secondary digital output of alc663?

If i understand post #2 correct:
The boost speaker is working fine.
Problem: I get video through HDMI, but alsa goes not seem to find the HDMI
sound output.
