Public bug reported:

I am trying to upgrade from 13.10 to 14.04 and I am getting an error
where the upgrader cannot perform it's function. While most of the bugs
refer to things like graphics cards, and so forth, these have not been
as helpful with regards to my particular issue. So I am looking for
better guidance.

Thanks in advance!
