When you try to run pkg-config --libs OpenIPMIpthread expected output
should be:
-lOpenIPMIpthread -lOpenIPMIutils -lOpenIPMI
but instead you get:
Package pthread was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `pthread.pc'
