When connecting the flatpanel monitor Samsung 225BW, X does not use the preferred mode of 1680x1050. There is already a patch for this bug in upstream: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10814 I tried to patch the gutsy patched sources, but I have problems with the dependencies (build fails). So I request hereby to implement this patch from upstream, so the next available built will work fine with the 225BW.
