Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.20-16-generic
Sound didn't work for my Haupauge PVR-150 until I updated the firmware from the supplied CD. With firmware (v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw) included in the l-r-m package I get (I'll cut this down here and submit attachments to the bug report). [ 14.432199] ivtv: ==================== START INIT IVTV ==================== [ 14.441898] ivtv: version 0.10.1 (tagged release) loading [ 14.452303] ivtv: Linux version: 2.6.20-16-generic SMP mod_unload 586 ... After all my bumbling to get mythtv going I wasn't 100% sure. But this reappeared after the last l-r-m upgrade. I am not 100% sure of the distribution status of the firmware so I have looked on the Haupauge site and checked against the version I have.
