Looks like this is just a matter of the G+ app not requesting the
correct permissions for file upload, it works directly in the browser
due to this already having permission but fails in the G+ app.

Still broken on #94 for me, on flo and mako. I get the same as in the
screenshot in comment #2. If I launch gallery manually I see photos
there.

Testing on image #94 on Nexus 7 (flo), I am able to upload a picture in
G+. When tapping the "Add photos from device" button, I’m being
