Well im afraid i cannot, the system i was testing on it is my primairy
computer.
i have however installed Gutsy since on a virtual machine on an
secondary XP computer and i have yet to notice the bug there :)

This might have been because of bug 134979. Can you please try this
again (that bug has been fixed in Gutsy since).

i tried to save in premade folders which you can select without having
to type (eg Desktop, Pictures,Other Media)

Are you sure you can write to the directory you want to save your screenshot to?
(Can be a duplicate of bug 31994 otherwise)
