Public bug reported:

displayconfig-gtk should allow to change monitor gamma settings,
probably by interfacing with "xgamma". Three sliders, by default linked
so they move together like most of The GIMP spinboxes, should enable
setting red, green and blue gamma correction.

UI proposal:

Gamma correction:
R [----------|--------------]  --+
G [----------|--------------]  --8
B [----------|--------------]  --+

Where the "8" is a chain like The GIMP ones. 
Changes should be live.
