Public bug reported:

When opening an Editor view in Eclipse the
cursor is currently represented by several vertical blinking lines.
- is is hard to work longer in the editor window view because you never
know which is the exact current cursor position. 

I tried to switch off/on smart cursor function and changing color of
selected line but it did not help much.
